Thinking Skills for optimum Performance
NUMBERS:Maximum 12 delegates
DURATION:1 day
TARGET AUDIENCE: Junior to middle management
“Men are disturbed not by things but by the views they take of them” said Epictetus, a 1st Century philosopher. It’s just as true today – our beliefs provide us with our perspective on the world. As we grow up our thoughts and actions reinforce these beliefs, and little by little we accept them as being the truth, rather than merely our perception of ourselves and the world. Our thinking habits, beliefs, and attitudes have a direct and powerful influence on every aspect of our lives. They strongly effect our mood, our emotional resilience and stress levels, and have a direct impact on our performance, our relationships, and the potential to fulfill our goals and ambitions.
This course will help you to become aware of, challenge and change unhelpful beliefs and perceptions. You will learn techniques based on the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy, providing you with valuable tools for becoming more positive, focused and successful at whatever you do. This is a skill for life.
